    Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of a healthcare centered, web-based self-management program designed for college students with allergic rhinitis. A randomized control trial with a non-synchronized pre-test post-test design was conducted. Participants included 59 students. Knowledge of allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis symptoms, quality of life, general self-efficacy, and learning flow were measured. The data were analyzed using the χ2 - test and the independent t-test using SPSS 21.0. There was significant difference in the knowledge of allergic rhinitis and symptoms and quality of life. It is recommended that the healthcare centered self-management program be implemented among college students with allergic rhinitis.
